New Post: Day 3 onto Day 4 – 30 Day Challenge

imageDo you believe in Fate?  Well just as I finished writing this post I hear this on NPR. I’m compelled to share it with you because knowledge is power when it comes to making changes in how we eat.  Healthy Doesn’t Mean Expensive

I’m starting with a big whopping picture of my dinner from last night. Why? Because I haven’t slowed down to make myself a dinner such as this in a long time and it is worthy of celebration. I am taking myself from a hurried healthy eater to a conscious healthy eater.  This means cooking and growing my own foods, being creative with herbs and seasonings as well as presentation and where I eat my food.

When one lives alone or even just two of you it is easy to slip out of the habit of eating consciously. Often times we are too tired and we just eat whatever we can. Granted I keep a pretty clean junk food free home yet that doesn’t matter, one can manage to eat an unbalanced meal in a variety of ways and pay for it later in stress diseases and so much more.

So last night I slowed down and cooked. No it isn’t fancy, complicated or unique.  I used organic jasmine rice from Trader Joes, organic frozen green beans, organic Kale and celery. Tossed in a sprinkling of grass-fed, free range hamburger – sprinkled some sesame seeds on top and it was yum good.  I would have loved to top it off with something the color red, perhaps a tomato or beets but I didn’t have it in my pantry.  Not to worry – it still digested phenomenally well and to top it off a friend of mine came by and we got to share it together.

Yesterday was interesting: I was supposed to meet-up with someone in the morning and I do believe I wrote about it here, yet she didn’t show up.  So I sat at Starbucks in the early hour of the morning when I would normally be doing something else and pondered the experience.

My time has become more valuable to me lately. In the past I would have dismissed it and talked myself into making do with the situation, excused her and excused my value in the process.  You see each of us don’t have an infinite amount of time and our time is precious. Understandably things can come up, emergencies, and I’ve had my fair share of misses; I’ve forgotten a date, which makes me feel bad because I always intended to honor everyone’s time and value (though never my own).  So I sat for 20 minutes and waited and left.  It felt good to reclaim my time, value, worth in such a way that I don’t excuse it anymore. Plus, how we show up in one thing is how we show up in everything. Yes, when I was more laissez-faire about time I truly didn’t carry out a lot.  Neither did I feel very engaged in life. It’s all a never-ending, teeter-totter balance experience, but I’m learning to be clear on time, scheduling and showing up in life.

This 30-Day Challenge is Proving Enlightening in Many Ways!

Last night I accomplished a 20 minute walk. Didn’t have the energy for Jungle Gym strength work but we shall see what shows up today.  In fact I might do 10 minutes of strength right after I post this.  I love fitting exercise into my day in a less than regimented way.

Meeting strangers: Wow this is proving a challenge yet I’m still going to do this.  Perhaps this weekend when I go to the elephant exhibit at the zoo I will have my stranger meeting marathon.  Pictures will follow - video if I can figure it out. Perhaps I need to cultivate the elephant hand shake.

So what are my Thursday intentions?

20 minutes exercise – play – strength – laughter (building abdominal strength with laughter)

Today – at work – I’m going to be conscious of my snacks – what I eat while I fiddle  (actually I’m also practicing giving 1000% at work so I can move out of and further into the work that I truly love) away my time at work. Still using this food pyramid as my inspiration:

Intend to meet 2 new people – let’s see what shows up and notice any resistance so that I can release the beliefs holding me back.   Again – my hand shake has been practiced.

Spiritual: After this I will spend 20 minutes in contemplation, prayer, meditation and watch the latest Story Water’s video. Those always set me on the right path.

Wishing you all a Breathe New Life Into Your Day – Your Life – Inspired Thursday!

What could you change in 30 Days? Outlook, perceptions, limitations, obstacles…..

Musings – Snippets To Inspire: Drop Old Beliefs to Be Refreshed and Energized!

Lately my inspiration is calling me to share snippets of inspiration and wisdom onto this blog. Perhaps it is because I feel that so many of us are experiencing a sense of urgency in our days. Slowing down and reading a long post – though good for us to do – doesn’t necessarily happen.  My hope is that in the brief postings I feel called to place on this blog, you can, in a small moment of time, pause, breathe and refresh your soul and spirit.

So much is stirring in my soul as I journey deeper into the Reviving Rising Me – I hope you enjoy – perhaps it will cause you to ponder and make a subtle shift to your perception of your day, your life, this moment in time for you.

Thank you for sharing this journey with me – I continue to evolve as do we all - and I love reading your comments and insights.  Peace – Grace and Ease to you all   Lynne

It is time – time to completely drop the old energies, patterns, the life of sacrifice and struggle.  Drop what does not bring you joy. There is a plethora of ways to release – start with proclaiming that I Will Release.  When  you do – you will experience renewed energy. Sales for energy drinks will drop suddenly. How do I know this? Because I’ve lived with Adrenal exhaustion for 30+ years – I know exhaustion very well. Since I’ve been actively stepping out of old belief patterns – I’ve seen my energy increase as easily as that.  That is what I know – will it be the same for you – I don’t know – but I do know that releasing old beliefs freed me up and that is the lightness that serves to energize me.

Broken Life Landing Into Love and Grace Filled Living

Well Into 2012 and I’m Being Revived Big Time – Hello Me

Since January 1st 2012, deciding to take a Leap and sign-up for a 12 week power coaching session, my life has been on hyper drive, and I’m having all sorts of life revival experiences.  I’m not talking about walking out the door and a ray of light beams me across the country or anything sudden like that.  I’m talking about that delicious, inner emerging into outer, growth that takes place on a deeper level than ever before. I’ve had moments such as what I am describing, they usually take place in a 10 year cycle, but this one is a humdinger.  Is it because I’m nearing 50? Well, I’d like to think so but I know it is that and so many other things.

Hitting Rock Bottom

Post coaching session last week I hit the all time humdinger of lows. Yep – I was low. It showed up when I was at work and all I wanted to do was go home, curl up in my comfy bed and go within. All day I felt weighed down with something indefinable; a feeling that left me in a mood of despair.  Yes, you get it by now, I was down in the dumps. Yet, I was aware that this was more than a mood swing rather this was a result of the shift that is taking place within me.

Slowly, as I stayed with every last feeling, what it is revealed itself.  The feelings were now able to be named. Let me introduce you to: Fear, Lack, Limitation, Worry, Worthlessness, Shame and so many of their siblings I can’t even count.  In the midst of all those feelings I felt void of anything representing the heart, love and lightness. I was reminded to release in a specific way and in doing so the curtains started to part, light started to shine in and even in this most raw and barren place I felt growth; something was beginning to bloom. I might even say some passion for life was returning. In fact I truly understood that the true I was beginning to reveal itself in a most authentic way.

This passion came about not because I put a positive spin on the situation, neither did I try to eat myself out of the emotional discomfort (yes I discovered I apparently have done that). Instead I allowed the shadow feelings to be expressed and released with grace.  I now have greater appreciation for the phrase “forgive them for they know not what they do”. When we are blanketed by inauthentic beliefs and conditioning we can’t see clearly, we can’t feel ‘compassion’ and ‘non-judgment’; we think we do but we don’t.

My friend Gretchen Wirges (Project Lifesize) explains it best in the video below:

It’s about breathing through the thoughts that we are less than, wounded, broken, lacking, limited and instead discovering that we are not any of those things.  Underneath and around those beliefs are who we are but we have to be okay to have those beliefs in the first place. Why? Because they are there – they are the beliefs we use to experience the opposite of who we are.  As my friend begins to say in the video (my words not hers) we can instead use those beliefs to ignite our passion for life, sculpt a new authentic you, emerge unstuck and more alive.  We don’t have to believe and live the rules of those outdated beliefs. We are not broken or in need of fixing we just have to wake-up and become aware of that.

As I revive and thrive into this new life, what feels like a rebirth of sorts, I am seeing all sorts of reminders, touchstones that bring me back to my truth.  For example this image of a boulder I saw on Facebook; I have felt this in my life for a long time and now I see the boulder gracefully rolled aside revealing a new path.

In the process I am falling in love with my life, my self, my body, my being.  For a long time I didn’t know where I wanted to live, to settle, so here I am living out my life in the desert southwest.  Yet, as I removed the veils I see that I enjoy it here, that overall I’m happy and lo and behold I drive by a neighborhood that I fall in love with.  It has the “new me” written all over it.  I couldn’t see it before.

I want to say it’s simple but in truth it has taken and will take a lot more stretching of myself.  I look forward to bringing the gifts of my work and my experiences to the women who desire to emerge out of the veils and into her most authentic, love herself deeply, life as art, life.

YOU ARE: Radiant – Beautiful and Prosperous! YOU ARE ALL THAT!

You Want A New Life Experience – Increase Awareness!

Let the sunshine into your life – increase your awareness!

To have a life revival of substance you must increase your awareness – inner and outer.

How Writing an Integrity Statement Can Support Your Life Purpose:

If you are a proponent of self-development / personal growth / empowerment, you have heard about defining your life purpose.  At almost 50 I still can’t say I’ve defined a purpose for my life.  Have you? Have you been able to stick with it?

Perhaps I’m confusing purpose with “something I do” rather then how I live!

Three weeks into power group coaching session and my awareness is heightened about how I cope and how I get distracted with my thoughts and stories; allowing them to take me on an emotional roller coaster ride further away from what it is I intend to experience. If it is true that “living purposefully” means staying focused on what’s important and not being distracted than the sometimes subtle mental and emotional foray I tend to venture into is definitely taking me out of my purpose.

When one chooses to live a life of increased connection, meaning and purpose and move away from living by accident, it is then we can decide how we want our life to feel and react from that place.

I don’t believe we come into the world knowing what we are going to do. I don’t believe we come into this world knowing we are going to make a million dollars, write a book, and compose a symphony.  Instead – I believe we come here to experience a feeling life and in doing so we follow, cultivate and develop our interests, passions and innate abilities; moving from one thing to another but all the while increasing our good feelings in the areas we choose.

One of the projects we have worked on in the Power Group Coaching is our Personal / Public / Professional integrity statements.  I had never done this before.  I know about integrity – I value it when it is authentic and not just something a business does to increase its profit margins.

In finishing this project I can definitely say that I have had my eyes opened, awareness attuned to something new with regards to how I live my life.  Below you will find the beginnings of my Personal, Professional and Public Integrity Statements.  I urge you to give it a go – I will let you know how this all develops but I can already feel my awareness and connection to a greater life purpose emerging from this activity.

Share this with your social community and see if anyone else has done this. Don’t forget that public, professional and personal integrity statement will be reflected in all of your social networking interactions.  Now that would be wonderful – more integrity in social networking communication – I like that.

Personal Integrity:

-Living from my highest state of consciousness

  • Making choices based on the highest good for all involved.
  • Commitment to increasing good feelings and happiness in my life.
  • Make positive life affirming choices.
  • Living and drawing from an inner source – intuition.
  • Connect regularly with source through prayer, meditation – dance.
  • Thrive through healthy eating, joyful exercise and play.
  • Act from my conscience at all times.

Thoughts = my words = my actions (in other words walk my talk and practice what I preach)

Professional Integrity:

-Respect – honesty – truth is foremost in all interactions.

Love – fairness – reliability as well as substance – enthusiasm and consistency will be found in all communication and product development.

Serve everyone from my highest state of consciousness and support this in others.

Public Integrity:

-Interdependence of self with those I meet. See myself and others linked as one and my actions in the world are consistent with my professional and personal voice of integrity.

Give back to my community (community where I live and work as well as my global community).

Who someone sees in both my personal and professional life is reflected into the community.

Cancer Patients Live Better & Longer With Wellness Coaching

I’m excited to share my blog with Emily Walsh of http://em-musings.blogspot.com/. I hope you enjoy and benefit from reading this as much as I did!

Cancer Patients Live Better and Longer With Wellness Coaching

One of the first discussions after finding out you have cancer is its probable influence on your body. Any prognosis can leave you feeling overwhelmed. Feeling alone and isolated is the last thing you need. From the diagnosis through the treatment of cancer, many emotions surface, including depression, anxiety and fear. Panic can set in. The uplifting news is that a wellness coach can assist you in becoming a cancer survivor.

Wellness coaching is relatively new as a stress management tool, but studies are just beginning to be published concluding that wellness coaching has an immediate, significant and lasting impact in reducing anxiety and depression. At the same time, quality of life and lifestyle behaviors improve.

Cancer patients benefit from wellness coaching. It’s just common sense that emotions are directly related to our health.

A wellness coach can aid cancer patients and survivors improve physical fitness and lifestyle choices. This leads to a higher quality of life. A coach will help you identify what you are doing right and what will not help you reach your goal. You may have a four-month goal but may not have the support to accomplish it. This is when a wellness coach can provide you the support you need.

Stress affects the immune system and interrupts the body’s natural healing abilities. Understanding how to manage stress successfully will help boost cancer patients’ recovery and improve their quality of life.

Lowering stress levels can lead to a lower risk of cancer returning. Infection and complication levels are lowered. Reducing stress can support healing and make medical treatment more successful.

Wellness coaches can help you through melanoma, mesothelioma, breast, ovarian, colon, lung, prostate and other types of cancer.

Not only that, but wellness coaching stays with you once you are a survivor. The majority of cancer survivors tend to fall back into bad health habits, according to the American Cancer Society. The bad habits include weight and lifestyle choices. These choices can lead to recurrence of the cancer, different chronic diseases, or mortality. Ok, what can be done about it? You need a wellness coach to keep you on track. Stress reduction and coching have been found to improve cancer patients’ survival rates.

How Loving The Now Will Change The Now

I choose to write each post on this blog with as much honesty as I can muster and not make myself too vulnerable – sometimes I don’t want to press that publish button.

I am a wellness/life coach who is stepping into her most limitless life. I’m not there yet – I don’t know if any of us will ever be there – I believe it is possible to live and create life separate from our conditioned beliefs. I do know that everyday is abundant in opportunities for me to truly release myself  from living by those false beliefs. I made a commitment and every day I see results. I’m not able to tell you I built a million dollar business or anything like that. I can tell you that my life is blossoming at almost 50 and it is a most magnificent ride.  Living our life by design (we did design this one) is exciting for me. I do not dismiss the experiences I have had and what I have to offer you. This is powerful stuff I am working with and believe me when I say – I have what it takes to coach you. What allows me to say this? I am living it – living life head on and waking up to how to change and shift the life that I live. I know – by experience – it works.

How Choosing to Live In the Desert is The

Perfect Creation to Replenish

As I was driving to get my car emissions testing done (getting an early start to avoid the heat of the day), I had ample opportunity to experience the very things that are talked about in the books I am reading. I’ve referred to one of them in the earlier post and now I just finished Arnold Patent’s Money. Today is July 1st, a day after my auto renewal was due. I had completely forgotten about it and of course didn’t budget for it. Here I am smack dab with the life I have created for myself. I have a car with inadequate ac and live in an environment that feels like it is parched and barely hanging on. Never enough rain, etc. It is absolute perfection.

My life has mimicked the desert. I have limited the flow of abundance in almost all areas of my life. I always seem to have just enough – but – not so much. How have I done that? By crafting beliefs that are designed to keep me from experiencing what I and others call the pure expression of God, source, oneness, spirit, etc. I have beliefs that definitely support lack and limitation. Now I’m sitting with this knowing and wondering what do I do with that. What occurred to me while driving is Love – loving it all – love it for its perfection in getting me to just this point in my life.

When I apply what Arnold Patent talks about and view my life as a movie, I see the characters involved; how they are created to support my beliefs. If I fight them, judge them, get angry with them, I then believe that it all is real and then I am stuck re-creating the same thing over and over. I am fighting with myself.  I proclaim enough – I don’t want to play in that way. The other way isn’t bad, I just like how this new way to play feels. I choose to give love – express love for it all. It truly feels so much better. It does – go ahead – try it.

On my way back from the emission testing (yes-car passed). I was watching the images that were showing up before me. I saw the sign with the worried character, wondering how to pay bills – the complete opposite of the abundance we are and yes that was me. No sooner than I saw that sign– a juggler on stilts showed up. I know – crazy – crazy fun – what a wonderful gift to show that when I started to see the joy and humor in life a visual served to confirm this. What dawned on me and why I want to write about this is, I am starting to feel replenished. Yes, just like in the movie Under the Tuscan Sun when the water faucet in the wall began to drip water.  I feel soul hydrated – dare I say abundant.

“The universe is designed as a mutual support system based on the system that we are one” Arnold Patent

“Abundance is our natural state; the way to attract it is to appreciate what we have” Arnold Patent

This all may sound a bit crazy. If you’ve read any of Arnold Patent’s work – it won’t. Suffice to say – I’m done with viewing myself as the victim of what I created and I’m done with fighting with the world. Choosing to see love – joy and beauty in all creations involves some stretching and no it doesn’t require a piece of Pilate’s equipment, it’s that deep soul stretching I’m talking about. Through this true loving what is – we then begin to move more and more into the best life we can feel.

Enjoy Your Beautiful – designed by you day!

Re-emerging via my Inner Athlete – It’s Never Too Late

3490

First of all I’m not an athlete – no Olympic aspirations for me.  I played tennis in High School and always enjoyed those sports. Yet, I never connected to the athlete mindset till later in life when I had to go through major challenges, including career and health. Now, I have a deeper appreciation for what it takes to be an athlete, in particular what the athlete does to achieve success via the mind and lifestyle.

Getting Into The Zone

We have all heard about the way athletes visualize  ”get into the zone”, before they even attempt hitting the slope, or stepping on the court.  They visualize succeeding, they see themselves achieving that hoop shot, or make a clean run on the downhill. This skill I began to cultivate when I started teaching group dance classes and used it when I was facing multiple surgeries.  With regards to the classes I taught  I was nervous because I had never done anything like it before. What I started to do – 2 days before each class – I saw myself teaching – I saw the exact number of people I needed to fulfill the energy I intended to create, with each song I saw myself guiding successfully all the way to the last number.  I didn’t do this every time  I taught but when I did it made a huge difference.  When I was facing the surgery prospect, I would, the night before the surgery, visualize myself coming out of each procedure receiving positive news.  I did, it wasn’t exactly what I wanted but it was good news every time.

Tour de Coach

Recently my interest in the athlete mind has been perked, I received an invitation to attend the Tour de Coach  workshop in Tucson. The workshop led by the same trainers who worked with Lance Armstrong, is sure to take any coach who participates to the next level. Though I wasn’t able to make it I vicariously (yes being a vicarious athlete pretty much works for me)  heard about the experience via a fellow coach who did take part.  She shared with me the following insight:

What if your 2011 was set up in periods, much like athletic training is. Your fall to early winter is launch/push/production time. Your winter- spring is content delivery, creating time. Your June is a taper down and your July-August are rest/dormant time. This insight from Andrea J. Lee and David Goldsmith at Tour de Coach

For the entrepreneurial re-emerging woman in particular – what if we set-up our creative cycles, work cycle, physical exercise schedules in this way? You see when I am managing 3 businesses, taking care of an aging parent, and setting goals for a healthy lifestyle, finding a better way to be productive is a priority these days otherwise I am sure to burnout.

Fall to Early Winter – Launch/Push/ Production: Time to get those new offerings on the table, finish the proposals, finish  recording   the video, etc.  Perhaps this is a time when you finish the crafting of your new jewelry line, aroma candles, whatever it is it is a time to bring it to the table, launch it on the web, share it with friends/family around the kitchen table.

Winter-Spring – Time to  fill in the content of what you have launched – infuse your work with renewed creativity. Take what you have done and add to it, be inspired.

June – Not a good time to launch anything rather start to taper down and ease into the summer.

July – August - Can you now take some time off? I hope so, this is the perfect time to play, vacation, see new sights. Let it all go – trust that it will be ready for you when you return.  Do the bare minimum to keep everything in order.  This is when having residual income is a wonderful thing to have.

I am definitely going to attempt to carry out this program- it may look a little blurry to start but I can certainly set it as a goal.

Let me know if you have any other ideas about how this could benefit your life, work.  I realize this might not fit those that work a job 8-5, yet I am sure you can find ways that this will fit into your life.  Let me know what you think.

Weight Loss Talk & Action Steps

I love to dance, in case you haven’t figured that out already. Having the time to dance with two joyful jobs (my own business and a side job) is sometimes difficult; I come home, must lay down tired (with adrenal exhaustion this is quite common). Dancing helps me to ground and tap into my inspiration.

Now every night and day I dance 10 – 15 minutes (I am learning to drop other things so that I can dance making dance time a priority). I have a Pandora online music love affair that has allowed me to hear some of the most unique sounds with my moving body/soul. When I dance this way I immediately free up stuck, sore areas in my body and I feel replenished. It is also an amazing meditation; the images fuel my work (definitely a bonus).

I dance as exercise – I play as exercise and that is what keeps my body alive and in a healthy weight range that feels good. When I don’t dance or move in a flowing, fully body way I start become stagnant.

Sometimes, in order to do what I need for my health,  it means stepping out of one thing to make time for another. For me, it has been dropping online visits. I am now in a good habit and I know what it takes to get myself back on track. I know what I want to see that is supported by my vision. Granted, things will get in the way but I know that I just need to check in and see what I can do to make sure I get a good moving/dance opportunity into my day.  I am keeping it simple so that way I will have success and that always feels good.

One thing I have learned, at this point in my life and with the limited energy I have, is to keep my exercise simple and extra joyful.  It is all about replenishing and refueling. Yes, to sustain a healthy weight I have to make sure I am energetically replenished and full rather than depleted; as well as keep an extra dose of positivity and happiness in abundant supply.

Now it is time to ponder the next series of questions in the Women Weight Loss topic.

What are your strengths and resources?

What are the strengths you bring that will support you in creating the results you want to support you in experiencing your vision with regards to weight loss?

The strengths are those things that may be identified from your past successes and something you presently know that you have recently drawn from to carry you through a challenge.

What are your resources? What resources do you have that will support you in creating the results you want in experiencing y our vision with regards to weight loss?  This piece is important because after we identify and feel the excitement and passion for that juicy awareness/vision for our life, we want to make sure we have what we need to support what we want to create.

Resources can include getting your family on board and perhaps knowing where you can find the foods you want to eat that will energize and replenish you. It is amazing how when you get a clear vision for what you want, a vision that is coming from somewhere within you; your genuine vision that is truly personal and not the next trend, the answer to these questions can show up almost effortlessly and with clarity.

When viewing the weight loss subject from a more narrow view, or a belief that we have long held, we are only seeing the problem, what we need and the gap from where we are to where we want to be.  When we start exploring weight loss at the outer end of the spiral; identifying a vision for what we want to see and how we can create the results, it is almost as if a light bulb is lit, an excitement is ignited that clears the way for us to see our vision unfolding before us and obstacles are more easily defined and set aside.

I like to start on the outside of the spiral. I generate the energy and clarity for my vision, I do this through my dance and then I move inward, through the success and resources, around the obstacles and into the pinpoint of genuine soulful creation.

I hope, if you are truly wanting to experience a new relationship with the subject of weight loss and ready to make healthy changes, you will make the time to explore the questions, discover your own answers and…..If you are truly ready and want further support and accountability, drop me an email and I will be there to help you in generating some exciting answers to the questions.  First and foremost take all the time you need to feel connected to your vision and what you want to see.

Yes, I will give you a couple of email coaching sessions to get you on your way and help you move around the spiral!

Time to start living from a more genuine space, you feel it, and in doing so we you have to feel your best. If you are ready to travel the spiral – let’s talk!

Your Vision for Healthy Vibrant Weight

Have you ever explored the following questions –

what is your vision for your healthy weight?

What would it look like, feel like on you?

This is not the vision that is based on the latest trend

rather a realistic vision for you that you would enjoy, not for anybody else but you.

The other day, as I was preparing to head out-of-town for a few days, I decided it would be smart to clean off my desk. Now am I the only one who has to have a clean house when I travel? Why I decided I should start to clean off my desk is beyond me but I am glad I did.

I found paperwork that I had collected, paperwork related to coaching activities. This one in particular comes from my friend Cassandra who is a coach and co-creator of wholonomy.com; strengths based coaching.

Reading the handout, I was reminded of something her and I talked about a while back.  She had mentioned that before anyone can begin to talk about setting goals, etc. they need to spend a good amount of time getting clear on what it is they truly want to have happen and change. This line of questioning, spending time on creating the vision, falls into what is called in the coaching world, appreciative inquiry which is a technique that when explored in-depth, can significantly raise the success rate of change.

This  got me to thinking about our latest blog topic, an exploration into weight loss for the re-emerging woman.  I decided to follow the line of questioning that she used on me for another problem I was dealing with and I think it will be effective for this area as well.  I sense that at this point in my life the incentive I had in my 20′s for weight loss is not the same one I have now. In my 20′s it was definitely more of an external value driven incentive and now it is more about the quality of my life and enjoying who I am now for me and not to catch the eye of someone out there.

Feel free to get your paper and pen out. You never know what new tidbit you might discover.

What is my vision for my healthy vibrant weight?

My vision is one where I am moving through my day with a greater degree of ease.  I don’t feel limited by what I can do because of my weight.  I enjoy how I feel in my body when I am sitting and standing.  I feel good in my clothes. I wear clothes that makes me feel more of a “wow” than a “ho-hum”.

My vision is that my weight contributes to my overall good health and in doing so I eat an 80-90% healthy diet.

My vision is that my weight neither rises nor falls with extremes and that I may have a belly but it is not causing me discomfort both emotionally and physically.

How can I create the results I want?

Exercise/ move daily in a way that I enjoy – keep  core strength as an emphasis for my back – etc.

Eat with a primary awareness of how I want to feel on the inside after I am done eating.

Enjoy what I eat – don’t restrict – be in awareness when I am eating.

Shop for clothes that supports my best look for my current body size.

Take time to try on clothes – lovingly let go of clothes that doesn’ t fit.

Have fun when shopping whatever size I am.

What do I want to see?

In the mirror I  see me loving me in my present body –

knowing that I am not my body or the thoughts that filter through my head when I am in my judging shadow voice.

I  see myself speaking about my weight in a supportive manner.

I notice that in the present moment I am in charge of how I feel – not the magazines etc.  I am in charge!

I  see me living vibrant from the inside out and knowing that how I feel about me, accepting me, affects my health even more than my body size.

I see the whole me – not my parts and all the faults I may label.  I see that which is beautiful in my body.

Are you game – give it a go – it’s pretty cool and lets see if we can appreciative inquiry our way into reframing experiencing our glorious weight.

There will be more to come on this subject. I would love to hear about your experience / results from the questions.

Have a beautiful, healthy you day, every day, till we connect again.
